Jacket season is just around the corner and this girl is pretty excited! This transitional period is actually my favorite mini season because I get the best of both worlds—bare legs with skirt and dresses, but I get to toss on a little jacket for an extra punch. Recently on the blog I shared my new favorite skirt set from Old Navy (see here) and I ended up ordering the skirt in both prints, the yellow floral and this navy polka dot. They have easily become the two most worn pieces in my closet the past month because they are so easy to throw on, they’re lightweight, comfortable and so affordable. They’re long enough that I can wear them to work meetings or on set styling, they’re flirty enough for weekend adventures or date night, and the perfect skirt for everything in-between.
I styled this skirt with a graphic Metallica tee, my new sueded-knit moto jacket in this gorgeous deep emerald from Old Navy as well, a vintage cowboy belt, black boots and a striped circle bag. This combo is my go-to on a busy work day and perfect for this transitional weather. Shop this look below! xo
