It’s my favorite time of year and I could not be more excited to kick off the holiday season! Every year growing up my parents would send out holiday cards to friends and family wishing them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Once I moved to New York, I was really far away from my immediate family, so I decided that I wanted to create some of my own holiday traditions. I started decorating my apartment for each holiday, I would host parties with friends, and last year I sent out handwritten holiday cards to all my friends and family.
I absolutely love handwritten cards and letters, so I’m really excited to team up with Papyrus cards for their line at Duane Reade this year! My New Year’s Resolution for 2017 was the word “Focus” – I wanted to focus on myself, my businesses and my relationships. I feel like I have learned a lot about myself and my relationships this year, and writing holiday cards is the perfect ending to the year to recap and touch base with my loved ones.
