7 Days of Using Pantene’s Nutrient Blends and Waterless Collections

Life is busy. My schedule is normally packed from the minute I wake up, to the moment I go to bed. Over the past few years, I have tried to find the balance between maintaining a routine and self-care, but also allowing adventure and trying new things each week. Now that I am at home more often, I have found that simplifying my beauty and hair routine is a must.

I have been a Pantene customer for as long as I can remember. I know, trust and use their products in my daily routine, so I was extremely excited when they asked me to document how I use their Nutrient Blends Collection and Waterless Collection throughout my week.

I started out the challenge with my ‘Self-Care Sunday’ routine. I washed my hair with the Nutrient Blends Collection. Since I regularly bleach my hair and use hot tools, I used the Fortifying Damage Repair with Castor Oil Sulfate Free Shampoo and Conditioner that enhances smoothness and has lasting frizz control. After my shower I do a little skin routine with a face mask while I blow dry my hair. On occasion, I’ll let my hair air dry but this week I blow dried my hair so I could see how the shampoo and conditioner worked with instant heat. It worked! My hair felt smooth, healthy and did not have any frizz.

Starting on Monday morning I started my no-wash week with the Pantene Waterless Collection. The collection is made to provide women with everything they need to reset their hair without the rewet. The MVP of helping me go the next six days without washing my hair was the Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist. The mist is moisturizing, lightweight and helped me get rid of flyaways and frizzy hair, and even helped me detangle my hair each morning while changing my hair styles. It’s made with Pro-Vitamin B5, Omega-9, aloe, and jojoba oil.

I started the week with my hair down curled, Tuesday I did a half-up ponytail and Wednesday, my best hair day of the week, I did a voluminous deep side part with barrettes. Thursday, I did a slicked back ponytail with a middle part, and on Day five, I kept the slicked down hair but let my “lion’s mane” go free for a fun Friday night look. Saturday is normally my errands day, so I did a low bun, and ended the week on Sunday with messy pigtail braids.

I try to avoid using too many products throughout the week so my hair lasts longer and doesn’t get overworked or oily. The Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist is super lightweight and smells great so it’s the perfect addition to my style each morning. On Day 1 and 2, it added a little texture to my hair to ease my styling and then the rest of the week it smoothed out the frizz and kept my hair styles fresh. Shop the Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist here . If you’re looking for a shampoo and conditioner to repair damaged hair, you can find it here.

Each week is always a little different—depending on workouts and weather, but this week was one of my best hair weeks I’ve had in a while, all thanks to Pantene Nutrient Blends and Waterless Collections. Thank you Pantene for working with me on this hair challenge and I cannot wait to keep using these products each week!
