Will Run For Food

My style has already evolved since I moved to New York. I was always a little nervous to test out different trends in Arizona but I’m learning more and more about NYC style and realize that it’s about cool street style – unexpected layers or pieces and most of time, you want good comfortable shoes. I am lucky enough to partner with New Balance today and show you my custom 998 sneakers. I designed my own pair entirely from shoe lace color  to sole design, and it was so much fun! You can design your own pair of 998, like mine, 990v3 or the classic 547 here. I wanted to add my own personal touch, and my custom writing on the back says, “Will Run For Food”, fitting right? And now for the outfit I mixed some of my favorite pieces like my striped Ruby May jersey dress, my CK Jean Boyfriend vest, but added a couple surprise elements like my long white sleeveless button-up and neckerchief – these elements make it not so classic summer and adds a street style effect. Be daring with your layers this week while you’re transitioning from summer to fall.

i love this street style outfit! Especially love what you engraved on the sneakers! I totally agree with the message haha! Nyc definitely does allow you to try out different trends and it’s a lot easier to take a little risk here! If you get a chance, come check out my personal style blog as well! http://www.sincerelyaimee.com
