Happy Tuesday! Today I’m kicking off my Vegas recap on the blog! The past three years I’ve done a yearly Vegas trip in May. It started probably over six years ago with a group of my brother-in-law’s friends, and has since grown to over 40 people. It’s so much fun – I love “checking out” for a few days and celebrating the start of summer. This year, I flew into Arizona a few days early to visit family (see my AZ hotel diaries here and here) and then drove from Phoenix to Vegas with my sister and brother-in-law. We spent 4 days and 3 nights in Vegas and stayed at our go-to hotel, MGM Signature!
I’ve stayed at a variety of hotels in Vegas throughout the years, but we absolutely love staying at MGM and MGM Signature because we always spend our day at the MGM pool (it’s insane, check it out here) and then hang out on the strip, or at bars during the night. On Saturday night, we saw Britney Spears, and not to sound dramatic, but it was a life changing experience. All of my childhood dreams came true on that stage. On Sunday night we headed over to Fremont Street, AKA “Old Vegas,” where I gambled for my first time ever. I even won!
