Styling Session- Alejandra Vidal

Happy 4th of July bloggers! I had a few minutes to spare before my family BBQ and wanted to fill you in my styling adventures. Yesterday I traveled back to Phoenix area to meet with photographer Alejandra Vidal (Imaginale Design) to style her for an upcoming couple shoot shot by the talented Buffy Dekmar. I was excited to meet up with Ale since I have not seen her since February when I did a photoshoot with her and other local photographers. I instantly connected with Ale and her passion for design and fashion. We have since kept in touch about styling gigs and last week she presented me with the amazing opportunity to style her. I was ecstatic to say the least. After looking through Pinterest and bouncing ideas off to each other, we headed to Scottsdale Fashion Square for our shopping adventures. We decided on two outfits: a romantic white dress- similar to a wedding-type dress, and a funky feminine ‘Ale’ outfit. We decided on a off-white short sleeve cap sleeve lace dress from H&M ($25) for outfit one, that will be paired with a fabulous gold crown from Etsy. Outfit two we found a great sheer mint button up and a short white pencil skirt with a statement ruffle on the waist- both were from Charlotte Russe and the skirt was only $8 . We hope to spice up the outfit with a hot pink skinny belt to match a pair of gold and pink chain earrings we found at H&M (picture below). Ale had cheetah heels to pair with outfit two and we accessorized with funky jewelry. The styling was a success and the only thing left is to make a heart cutout on the white dress for a ‘WOW’ factor. I will be posting a tutorial soon about the heart cutout. I hope you enjoy the pictures from yesterday and keep posted for more DIY tutorials.
