Happy Monday my loves! This weekend was exactly what I needed to feel refreshed and ready to tackle the next few weeks. I spent time with friends, organized and took things slow. I’m back today sharing how I wear denim on denim. Denim has been gaining popularity the past few seasons, and the retro update of wearing denim on denim is one that I personally love, but I know can be intimidating to some. My first and most important rule to wearing all denim it to mix and match shades of denim. It isn’t as overwhelming when you wear a dark denim wash pant or shirt with a lighter wash pant or shirt. This makes the outfit seem more cohesive and not as retro 80’s or 90’s.
Another styling tip is to add a pop of color or print to the outfit. I added a yellow sweater, python boot and extra gold accessories to keep your eye interested and not focusing on just the denim outfit. Mixing an all over denim outfit with a sweater or a jacket is a great transitional outfit for spring. You can dress it up with heels or keep it weekend casual with sneakers and a top knot.
