I remember it was around fourth grade when I really started doing my hair and taking an interest in beauty. There was one hairstyle in particular that I was dying to have – it was an angled bob where the front part of my hair hit around my chin and then the back was super layered and I could spike it up. Think Kate Gosselin hair, but a little longer, edgier and more punk (Yikes… I know). But, if you remember, that hairstyle was super cool at the time! Anyway, my mom refused to let me get that haircut (bless her good taste). In compromise, I got a layered bob and my mom bought me göt2b glued to spike/style my hair. I instantly fell in love. The hairstyle came back in sixth grade and used the the glue to flip out pieces of my bob – very early 2000’s right?
Well, I’m jumping on the göt2b train again, but this time, with no horrible spiked bob – a new lob and some new products! DRY SHAMPOO
I am a frequent, possibly too frequent, user of dry shampoo. I have used a large variety of brands of dry shampoo and even make-shift at home remedies, but I’m always looking for something that will not only help any greasy hair, but refresh my look and give my hair more volume. I loved the göt2b dry shampoo because it was lightweight on my hair, worked quickly and even smelled good!
TEXTURE CREME POMADE
This texture creme lifts and loosens layers, bends and separates ends, and overall helps with styling. I have loved using this after curling my hair because it helps separate the pieces for a more messy/natural look and tones down my fly aways and baby hairs. The pomade is easy to use, not sticky like other styling gels, and smelled good too! I really enjoyed the updated version of the pomade and can’t wait to keep using this when styling my hair.
WAVING SPRAY
I typically wash my hair at night and let it air dry, so I was really excited to use this waving spray! My hair is pretty straight but if I put it in a bun, or use product like this waving spray, I can get some body to it. This helps speed up my morning routine because since I already have body/wave to my hair, due to the spray, I only have to curl my top layer! I love it and can’t wait to keep using it.
