It’s that time of year again! Time for meeting new people, new adventures, and new clothes. It’s school time! It has been a ritual of mine, as I’m sure many of yours, to go “back-to-school” shopping. But where do you start? This school year I’m kicking it off with a few west coast designers with a whole lot of style.

Tips for the ladies:
> A man’s shirt can give your outfit a cool laid-back vibe. I personally love wearing a bro-tank or oversized pocket tee, high waisted jean cutoffs with a pair of chucks

> Go out of your comfort zone! Dress for your mood that day; one of your biggest forms of expression is through clothing so make your statement BOLD
Tips for the guys:
> Start wearing color! Colored shorts, sneakers and hats are a great start to the year
> Printed pockets are a great alternative to your typical t-shirt and it’s a definite conversation starter
> Ditch the gym shoes and match your new threads with a pair of vans, converse or sperry’s
