Winter 2020 trends are not for the faint-hearted. Designers decided to kick off the 2020s with trend overload with blended styles, such as posh punk and our new favorite fashion color of the season, butter.
There is plenty of room for personal style in 2020. Designers showed of pieces to cross over multiple style categories and we’re highlighting six winter 2020 trends that are making their way to the street.
Kick plaid to the back of the closet, because English tweed is taking it from here. Tweed is not a newcomer, but it’s reinvented this season. The more tweed, the better: coats, capes, and full suits.
Mustard for fall/winter? That was so last year. Say hello to the winter 19/20 “it” color: BUTTER. Butter is a great neutral color, that may be carried into spring. Make sure to add some butter to your closet this season.
Hot Topic meets 18th century France. This season the runways created a healthy balance by mixing posh and punk. It’s not a phase mom. This is a trend that’s going to stick around. At least we hope.
Millennial purple successfully beat millennial pink this season. Pastel, neon and deep purples are welcome in all forms this season. Make sure to add something purple to your wardrobe!
