Mourning the MET Gala? Us too. Each year on the first Monday in May we camp out on our couches and admire what’s been nicknamed fashion’s biggest night out. This year will be a little different though as the festivities have been postponed due to COVID-19. About Time: Fashion and Duration—the exhibit the 2020 gala is based on—is now set to open on October 29th though the gala’s new date is still TBD. Since About Time will look at the past 150 years of women’s fashion, we decided today would be a great day to take a walk down memory lane, too. It is MET Gala Monday after all!
