Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week. My week has been absolutely crazy! I launched my eBook Fashion Fundamentals this week, and have been busy playing catch up with work. However, I finally feel caught up and I am ready for the weekend!

Today I am sharing my favorite transitional spring pieces! The weather during this time of year can be tricky. In the mornings and evenings it’s chilly while midday the weather is hot. The key to beat this weather is to layer! Light jackets and sweaters, loose pants, long skirts, blouses, and silky scarves are must haves! If you have any favorite transition pieces, comment them below! Enjoy! xo

Light jackets are the must have transitional pieces. I always suggest jackets with unique patterns in interesting colors! My favorite transitional jacket is denim.

I’m not talking about the usual scarf. I’m talking about those small silky scarves that we tie around our necks so fashionably. These little scarves are perfect for a breezy day and add dynamic to your outfit.

Light knit sweaters are key to surviving a Spring day! Whether it’s cold or hot a light sweater can keep you the perfect temperature.

This time of year is perfect for blouses and tunics. A blouse and a tunic can be easily layered under a jacket, a sweater, or both! I love wearing a long tunic over jeans during this time of year!

This time of year is perfect for midi skirts. I’m a big fan of midi skirts, they’re a blast to wear and are perfect for this type of weather! Pairing a midi with a blouse and a jacket is absolutely perfect for a chilly Spring day!

During this transition time, cropped and flare jeans are perfect! They allow your legs to breath all while keeping you warm and toasty.

During this time my favorite shoes to wear are either: flats, mules, or sneakers! These are the perfect shoes for this transition period! They’ll keep your feet warm on a cool day and cool on a warm day.
