Happy Friday! I’m following the trend of this week’s posts about fashion week, and sharing my favorite looks from New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 17 shows. Paris Fashion Week is currently in session and then fashion month will come to an end until September. I feel like it went by so fast this year! The past couple of seasons I was attending shows for the blog or work, covering events and networking, networking, networking! This season, I had the amazing opportunity to step behind the scenes and work on the brand side.
In Fall 2016, I did a freelance contract with Alice + Olivia, and I was beyond excited when they asked me to come back for fashion week. I worked with the Creative Department and helped with casting models, styling the looks and all creative production aspects of the show. It was exhilarating, long days, and I learned so much. I loved seeing the brand side of fashion week and the amount of details that go into a runway show or presentation. I only knew a small spectrum from my experience in Arizona, but this was on a whole different level. If you followed my social media during fashion week and was wondering how I managed to be in two places at once, I had some killer interns attend shows in my place and document everything for you!
