Fall/Winter 2018 Trend Report: Clothing

It’s my favorite time of the year: fashion month! New York Fashion Week just ended and things are currently across the pond in London this week. Fashion month is my favorite because the cool street style from show goers, the creativity each brand puts into their show and collection, and the overall energy of fashion week is truly unmatched.

Designers and brands are currently showing their Spring/Summer 2019 collections, but since fall is quickly approaching, we thought it would be the perfect time to showcase our favorite trends from last fashion week for Fall/Winter 2018.Today’s report is dedicated to clothing but follow along throughout the week to see our favorite accessory and beauty trends! I hope you enjoy and shop the trends below! xo

Saville Row

Herringbone, plaid and houndstooth are all the rage this fall/winter. This trend is simple and sophisticated. An overcoat, top or even pants are easy ways to implement this trend in your wardrobe this season.

Transparent Plastics/Iridescent Holograms

Sleek, silver and clear those are the futuristic influences hitting the fashion world this season. As weird as this trend seems you’ll be seeing it everywhere this fall/winter. I know personally I can’t wait to find some new future inspired pieces! Shop below for some of the coolest futuristic pieces this season.

Busy Prints

This season it’s all about making a statement with busy prints. What I love about this trend is it’s almost like mixing prints. The key to achieving the perfect busy print look is to mesh multiple prints together. Choose different sizes and tones to make it harmonious and dynamic. Below you can shop my favorite printed pieces: don’t forget to mix them!

Animal Print

The fiercest trend this fall/winter is animal print! You all know by now that I have an obsession with prints… specifically animal prints! This season I’m so excited to pull out some of my favorite animal prints… zebra, cheetah and snakeskin – BRING IT ON!

80’s Western

Two of my favorite things: 80’s and western. The 80’s and western trend have both been huge the past few seasons. However, this year fashion is upping it’s game and mixing these two trends together! Large shoulders, denim, leather collars, belted waists and cowboy boots are what make this trend!

Rust

Meet the millennial pink of fall: rust! Rust has always been a must have color of fall. This season deeper hues of pink and red are the must haves. Add this perfect color to your wardrobe through shirt, dress, pants or jacket!
